Rain or shine the construction continues at Chouteau Crossing for the Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 36 new office, union hall and school. The mezzanine levels are in place, the new additions to the building are being added, the new roof is in and all utilities are being stubbed into place.

Green Street Receives Development of the Year Award

Green Street received the Development of the Year Award from the City of St. Louis for its 840 E. Taylor Avenue project in the City’s North Riverfront area. The 94,500 SF facility includes renovation of two existing buildings and a 50,000 SF addition.

Green Street received the award along with their two tenants, Goedecke and Raben Tire. Goedecke, a long-time construction supply company will occupy 54,500 SF of the facility and Raben Tire, a leading provider of tire and tire related services based in Evansville, Indiana opened a 40,000 SF retread manufacturing plant. This is Raben Tire’s first location in St. Louis. Combined the two companies will bring 110 jobs to the North Riverfront area.
